Carlo has been the Curator of the Rock Garden at the New York Botanical Garden
for just about two years. He was an attorney for 20 years, but in regards to
horticulture, he has done free-lance photography and writing, consulting work,
design and construction, and been the owner of an orchid and exotic plant mail
order nursery. His apartment in the Bronx is filled with everything from
seedlings of hardy cyclamen to orchids to succulents, and seemingly everything
in between! He's a native of Wisconsin.
